I think it’s important to prospective clients to know a little bit more about me than where I went to law school and what bar associations I belong to.  After all, if you decide that I’m the right Chicago bankruptcy attorney to represent you, you’ll have to share a great deal of personal information about yourself with me.

The first thing you should know is that I run a solo law practice.  When you hire me, you get me.  I handle your case from the initial interview through the discharge.  When you hire me as your Chicago bankruptcy attorney, you are hiring a lawyer who takes a lot of pride in a high level of personal service and dedication.

I operate a solo practice because I want to help people on a one-to-one basis.  That’s one of the reasons why I left my former career as an IT analyst – I didn’t feel like my work really mattered to anyone on a personal level.  I wanted to know that the work I did would make a difference to people on an individual basis.

In case you are interested in the standard lawyer bio:  I am a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, where I completed certificate programs in Labor and Employment Law, and Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.  I am admitted to practice in Illinois state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. I’m a member of the federal trial bar.  I belong to the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, as well as the American, Illinois, and Chicago Bar Associations.

I live in Lakeview with my wife and daughter and I’m proud to provide legal services in the community in which I live.
